“10 Things I Hate About You” is a 1999 film that follows the character Kat Stratford during her senior year. Her abrasive personality pushes away any classmates from wanting to interact with her. While this does not bother her or her father, it prevents her younger sister from experiencing the full potential of being a teenager. Kat’s sister is desperate to have a boyfriend. So, she finds a way to keep one while also finding Kat one too. This film earned more than $8 million in its opening weekend and finished second at the box office the year it was released.
