The game franchise ‘Five Nights At Freddy’s’ came out with their first movie, which is very well developed but lacking a storyline

The game franchise “Five Nights At Freddy’s,” which has been around for nine years, caught the attention of many young children in 2014. The franchise has recently come out with its first movie, causing the audience to have mixed feelings about it. The announcement of this movie came out around April 2015, but the production of this film did not start until early February of this year. The film was released on Oct. 27.

“Five Nights at Freddy’s” was an amazing movie. In the beginning, it did start a bit slow since we did get to see the main character Mike’s backstory. It slowly progressed, showing the viewer how he got his job as a security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.

Throughout the movie, the audience goes through many different plot twists as it progresses. A variety of secrets and easter eggs are in this film, and we get to see a different side of the animatronics. I thought he wasn’t going to make it as the security guard the first night. I enjoyed that they added some of the lore into the movie, but they also changed it a bit.

One of my favorite scenes was the dream scene, where Mike is in his repetitive dreams that he forces himself to have. He makes himself relive the same moment over and over so that he can try and remember who took his little brother.

I was glad to see the main animatronics and enjoyed their designs. But, I would have loved to see Balloon Boy, not only as a small figurine but also as his animatronic self. There were other animatronics that we do not see in the film, but I’m hoping that Scott Cawthon makes this into a movie franchise rather than just one film.

If there was something I could change about this film, it would’ve been how accurate the lore was from the game. It was rated PG-13, but I would loved to see more action in these films.
