On Nov. 2, 2023, members of Magpie and Tattler staff left for Boston to attend the NSPA/JEA National High School Journalism Conference. They spent four days sightseeing and attending workshops.

Senior Jennifer Anaya-Serrano was chosen by the Logansport High Speech Team as a representative at the Plymouth competition. Logansport placed fifth from the top eight.

After being presented with the plaque, Principal Matt Jones, Technical Sergeant Lucy Reyna, seniors Emilia Rozzi, Degan Kitchell and Tate Strong stand for a photo as the Magpie, Tattler, Berry Broadcast, and Pharos-Tribune capture the moment. The Berry Bowl was surrounded by photographers and videographers trying to capture the program.

Veda Fagner is a senior at Loganspot High School. This is her fourth year on staff and her second year as Multimedia Editor/Podcast Producer. She loves to read and write and dreams of being a published author with her own bookstore. She loves cats, the color blue, and oddly enough, the word “onomatopoeia.” Veda has loved her time in Magpie and has made so many great friends and memories. She is excited for one more great year.
