On Nov. 2, 2023, members of Magpie and Tattler staff left for Boston to attend the NSPA/JEA National High School Journalism Conference. They spent four days sightseeing and attending workshops.

Veda Fagner is a sophomore. This is her second year on staff, where she mainly works as a cartoonist, photographer and videographer. She loves the class and the people in it. She is excited for another year. Outside of Magpie, Veda is also involved in the Berry Broadcast, Art Club, Travel Club, Drama Club, McHale Tech Crew and Speech Team.
