Last Friday, Feb. 23, Logansport High School’s FFA held its annual Kiss the Pig competition in the Berry Bowl. Throughout the week, students were able to vote on a teacher or staff member to kiss a pig, by putting money into the corresponding jar. All of the money received from the Kiss the Pig competition is used to help fund the FFA. Students could also support FFA by participating in the FFA Spirit Week, which included Patriotic Day, Country vs Country Club Day, Teacher Student Swap Day, and of course Blue and Gold Day on Friday.
To begin the Kiss the pig Relay race, one student from each grade's team lines up with their horse. This year's horse racers were (from left to right) senior Vasan Nomany, junior Aiden Snoeberger, sophomore Gianna Williamson and Freshman Markitta Bault.
