Pig Kissin’ and Relay Racing
FFA week is a week-long celebration every year throughout the week that Feb. 22 falls on. The reason for this is that Feb. 22 is George Washington’s birthday. Washington symbolizes the treasure because he was a good farmer and was able to do so because he was financially independent and kept his farm accounts carefully and accurately.
One of the activities that the Logansport FFA does every year is to kiss the pig. The kiss the pig fundraiser is a coin fundraiser where teachers volunteer to be a nominee and the students can put money into the container of the teacher they want to see kiss the pig.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Logansport High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
