Teaching with Technology

Technology is an ever evolving thing thats not going away. Unfortunatly, with today’s technological advances, technology has made its way into the classroom and taken over the way we learn.

It goes without saying that phones, computers, T.Vs, and other electronics have become things that students see and use on a daily basis. New forms of technology are being produced each year, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. With the majority of students’ work and entertainment being online, technology is vital to succeed both in school and in the social world. But with every good thing, there are downsides that most teachers and students struggle with. While social media, ebooks, articles and online games are fun, they can quickly turn into an addiction and take up valuable time. There is also some speculation that while technology is helpful, things like Alexa, Google Home and Siri can take away a human’s ability to do things for themself. The same goes for tools such as Google Translate and Google Maps.
