“Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Manana” is the latest album from Bad Bunny. Overall, this album is generally great for its style.
Throughout the album, one of the greatest continuous aspects was the beat, which was for the most part fast-paced and a strong contribution to the general feel of a song.
A big part of the album was the tone, moving faster than the beat generally and providing a sense of urgency and excitement throughout the songs.
However, there were also a few problems with the album. The biggest one that sticks out is an overuse of auto-tune throughout the song. This came across as a fault because it often drowned out his actual voice. Of course, auto-tune helped this album a good bit in parts as well, but it just felt generally overused.
Also, the songs were prone to jumping around on-premise, switching the direction of the album completely and making it difficult to keep up. This was most prevalent in the song “Mercedes Carota.”
However, “Mercedes Carota” was one of the songs that stuck out the most in the album. It held a great sense of tone that unlike many of the other songs followed the music rather than trying to jog ahead. It also is one of the songs where the auto-tune wasn’t dramatically overused; thus, allowing for a much easier time listening to it.
As well in “Mercedes Carota,” the transitions in this song were much more smooth and somber, which was a totally different vibe from the rest of the album, creating a sense of diversity.
The other song that truly stuck out was “Vuelve Candy B.” This was the first song I listened to in the album, and it was an incredible introduction. It was a constant fast pace, and it really felt like the beat and the lyrics were fighting for control throughout the entire song.
I believe that I would put this song at a safe 7/10. The missing points truly came from the lyrical jumping as well as the overuse of auto-tune, both of which were hard to look over.
