As the 2022 track season progresses athletes have been challenged. The boys’ team has faced many losses this season. The boys’ junior varsity and varsity record is sitting at 3-9-0. On the other hand, the girls’ team has had a pretty good season. Currently, they are sitting with a 9-4-0 record and recently just won the Cass County Meet.

“The kids are doing the best they can. The weather has been crappy, and we have been battling some injuries, but their times and distances are getting better,” head coach Randy Kuhn said.

With the end of the school year approaching, track has just a few meets left.

“Now we are getting into the survival part of the season. I would like to see us compete well in the NCC Conference Meet and sectionals. Hopefully, we can get some kids to the regionals and hopefully someone to the state meet,” Kuhn said.
