Gretchen Prifogle

Gretchen Prifogle, Multimedia Editor

Gretchen Prifogle is a senior at LHS and is currently serving as one of the Multimedia Editors. She served as the Photo Editor during her sophomore and junior years. She enjoys taking pictures for articles and creating videos. Her favorite topic to write about is anything interesting about Logansport currently or in its history. She is heavily involved in school activities. She is in dance, Drama Club, Swing Choir, Student Council, Travel Club, National Honor Society and the Mayor's Youth Advisory. She is the Senior Class treasurer and president of Sub Debs, president of the National Honor Society, and president of the Mayor’s Youth Advisory. Her future plans are to attend Purdue University to major in organizational leadership and human resource development. Gretchen is so excited to work in Magpie for one last year.

 Focused on running as fast as she can, sophomore Ashley Murillo runs in the distance medley relay with sophomores Libby Dexter, Claire Bundy and freshman Audrey Graham. This is a race where a team of four takes turns running around the track. The team runs 20 times in total against other schools to see who is the fastest. Murillo has participated in track for three years now. “Speaking for everyone in track, we all like that track has opportunities for everyone,” Murillo said. “It’s a well-diverse sport. Track offers running, but since not everyone likes to run, there’s shot put, high jump and a few more other events people can participate in.”

While standing in line waiting to buy his ticket to Los Angeles, private investigator Owen Stacy, played by eighth grader Cooper Prifogle, is annoyed by the sound of Nelson Henry’s tapping, played by eighth grader Chris Knapp. Their relationship on stage is very comical in that Nelson is a very easy-going musician, and Owen is an uptight investigator who is annoyed by Nelson not caring about the murders as much as he should.

Berry Buddies is a club that pairs students with special needs students and does all kinds of fun activities together.
