On this week’s episode of The Felix Frame, we meet with seniors Layla Powell, Finley Gay, and drama director Tony Kinney to hear about the drama department’s production of “The 39-Steps.” We also spoke with Magpie journalists Gretchen Prifogle, Justin Snay, and Kylee Langley to hear about their experiences at J-Day. The esports Rocket League coach Dave Packard shares the team’s experiences with esports. Finally, we meet with Logansport Mayor Chris Martin to hear about the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council.

Elijah Bault, Content Creator
Elijah is a senior at LHS. He has been participating on the Magpie staff for the past two years. Although he is not a part of the actual class, he has enjoyed his time on the staff, writing articles, taking photos, and eventually settling in as one of fourth of the of The Felix Frame hosts. He especially loves editing videos and taking pictures. Outside of Magpie, Elijah participates in the McHale Tech Crew, Swing Choir, Drama Club, and Jazz Band. After high school, he will attend Ball State University to major in Theatre Design and Technology with a focus on Sound Design and Scenic Design and a minor in Jazz Music.
Carissa Dawson, Multimedia Editor
Carissa Dawson is one of the Multimedia Editors on the Magpie Staff. Dawson is in Swing Choir, co-captain of the Speech Team, captain of the Dance Team, vice president of Thespian Society, and vice president of Sub Debs. She works at the local movie theater, Mary Max. Dawson enjoys reading and watching television when time permits. Dawson plans to go to Ball State University in the fall to continue a career path in journalism.
Christopher Knapp, Content Creator
Chris Knapp is a freshman at Logansport High School, and this is his first year as a Content Creator on staff. As well as anchoring for The Felix Frame, Chris is also a part of the choir, Drama Club, wrestling, band and Jazz Band. Some of Chris’s hobbies include playing guitar, collecting watches,and drawing. When Chris isn’t at school, he enjoys spending time with his youth group as well as volunteering for his church’s middle school youth group.
Payton Mucker, Business Manager
Payton Mucker is a senior at LHS heading into the third year of his time shared with Magpie. He currently serves as the Business Manager but has previously had roles such as Podcast or Social Media manager. Payton will be attending Ball State University in the fall of 2024 to study journalism. While not busy on staff, you can find Payton performing on the stage or spending time with the people he loves most. He can’t wait to see what this year holds and is ready to wrap up his time and proudly be an LHS alumnus.
Cooper Prifogle, The Felix Frame Producer
Cooper Prifogle is a photographer. Ge is also an anchor and editor for The Felix Frame. He is in the Swing Choir, Berrytones, Speech Team, Student Council and Drama Club. Some of his hobbies include singing, playing piano and acting. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his friends, and he also volunteers at his church every Sunday. Cooper is very excited to start his first semester in Magpie and can’t wait for the rest of his high school career.
Gretchen Prifogle, Multimedia Editor
Gretchen Prifogle is a senior at LHS and is currently serving as one of the Multimedia Editors. She served as the Photo Editor during her sophomore and junior years. She enjoys taking pictures for articles and creating videos. Her favorite topic to write about is anything interesting about Logansport currently or in its history. She is heavily involved in school activities. She is in dance, Drama Club, Swing Choir, Student Council, Travel Club, National Honor Society and the Mayor's Youth Advisory. She is the Senior Class treasurer and president of Sub Debs, president of the National Honor Society, and president of the Mayor’s Youth Advisory. Her future plans are to attend Purdue University to major in organizational leadership and human resource development. Gretchen is so excited to work in Magpie for one last year.
