On Nov. 1, during sectionals, the Logansport High School football team went against the Lebanon Tigers resulting in a heartbreaking defeat of 35 for the Lebanon Tigers and 28 for the Logansport Berries. After halftime, the score was 21 Lebanon and 14 Berries, letting LHS know they could win but only five minutes into the 3rd quarter, Lebanon scored two more touchdowns, making them worried. Yet the heat in the LHS boys’ hearts resonated with the crowd and cheerleaders making our smaller section seem like they were cheering for the Superbowl. With constant boosts of charisma from certain players, the coaches’ hope and energy-filled speeches, and powerful cheers from all around, a minute into the fourth quarter the score became 35 Lebanon and 28 Berries. Going into this game Logansport knew it would be a tough one as they’ve now made it as far as sectionals, even so, they had hope and extraordinary wills which pushed them until the final seconds.
