Update on the Renovated Student Union
What was once known as the library is now known as the Logansport Savings Bank Student Union. After three years, the wait for this project to be finished is almost at an end. The Logansport Savings Bank was a great financial contributor to the update. Librarian Tamara Minks and her teacher assistants are excited to finally get settled into such a convenient and spacious place.
“The café will go first in getting stuff,” principal Matt Jones said. “It should be opened pretty soon. We are just lining up workers. We’re working with the culinary arts classes too. There’s a collaboration between the culinary classes with the food service. Food service technically runs the coffee shop. We are just finalizing all that. I would say it will be open in the next few weeks.”
