Mamma Mia, the 2008 hit musical focused around comedy and romance, has been announced as this year’s LHS Winter Fantasy. The cast list was announced on September 17th.

“I am so excited to just be a part of this show,” Junior Layla Powell said, “I can’t wait to be singing and dancing with my friends and making so many theater memories. I am extremely grateful to play Sophie and I hope I do a good job. I auditioned for Tanya and although I didn’t get that part I am very happy with the one I got and I can’t wait to see Leah Alder play Tanya. She’s going to do an amazing job.”

Mamma Mia show dates are set for November 18-20 at McHale Performing Arts Center.

“Everyone puts a lot of hard work into the show and with past years of being in shows at LHS you have to know they are going to be good,” Powell said, “There are so many talented people in this show and Mamma Mia is such a fun musical to play with. Please come see it, you’ll have a blast.”
