The Year of the Rabbit
The Purdue Chinese Performing Arts Troupe was a special guest at the Lunar New Year celebration. One of their dances, called “Sending You A Rose” portrays the love story of three Uygher girls.
As the Year of the Tiger comes to a close, celebrations for the Year of the Rabbit are underway. The Chinese Club celebrated the Lunar New Year by putting on a variety of spectacular performances at Mchale PAC. Students participated in traditional dances, read poems in the native languages, and modeled clothes tailored for special occasions.
