Baseball and Softball Swing Into Action
As spring starts, athletes are back out for spring sports. Logansport High School offers five spring sports, two of those being baseball and softball. Both teams are out practicing, preparing for games to start up, and trying to get as much time out on the field as they can.
The baseball team is coached by LHS alumni and Logansport Police Sgt. Danny Frye. Frye played baseball at Logansport High School for four years from 1984-1988 and then went on to play for Indiana State. This will be his third season with the team.
The softball team is coached by the dean of students Corey Cripe. Cripe has been the head coach for the softball team for three years.
