Leah Alder, Managing Editor
Senior Leah Alder is a co-managing editor on the Magpie staff and has been a member for four years. She is also a member of many extracurriculars, including Swing Choir, Drama Club, NHS, etc. She loves Dr. Pepper, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and K-pop, especially BTS. She hopes everyone loves the content Magpie produces and supports BTS in their every endeavor as she does every day.
Carissa Dawson, Multimedia Editor
Carissa Dawson is one of the Multimedia Editors on the Magpie Staff. Dawson is in Swing Choir, co-captain of the Speech Team, captain of the Dance Team, vice president of Thespian Society, and vice president of Sub Debs. She works at the local movie theater, Mary Max. Dawson enjoys reading and watching television when time permits. Dawson plans to go to Ball State University in the fall to continue a career path in journalism.
Reyna Hernandez, Social Media Editor
Reyna Hernandez is a second-year staff member. She is the Social Media Editor but also enjoys taking photos of sporting events and writing sports and news articles. She is a part of the Tattler staff, plays softball, and is in a variety of clubs, but her favorite is Key Club. In her free time, she likes to compete in pageants and is the 2023 Teen Miss Cass County. She also enjoys getting dressed up and hanging out with friends, as well as playing sports.
