Kylee Langley
Kylee Langley, Editor-in-Chief
Kylee Langley is a senior and the Editor-in-Chief of Magpie. She has been on the staff for four years and has previously been the section editor for Arts and Entertainment and Features. One of her favorite things about being a part of Magpie is the people she is surrounded by. She also loves to write for News and Features. For her writing, she has won various awards. Outside of Magpie, she is involved in the IHSPA Student Board, NHS, Secretary of Student Council, track manager, Sub Debs, and the Chinese Club. During her free time, she loves to spend time with her friends and family. After high school, she plans to further her knowledge and go to college in hopes of pursuing a career in journalism.
Emily Sanchez
Emily Sanchez, Managing Editor

Emily Sanchez is a senior this year and has been involved in Magpie since her freshmen year in 2020. She currently serves as co-Managing Editor and enjoys writing arts and entertainment articles. She is involved with the school's cheer team as a base as well as the Speech Team, Student Council, Spanish Club, Chinese Club and NHS. She likes to spend her quality time relaxing and working after school. After high school, she plans on majoring in nursing and hopes to one day work at Riley’s Hospital in Indianapolis. During her last year on the staff, she hopes to make the most out of the year and cover topics that aren’t usually covered. Magpie wasn’t just another class for her. It shaped her into who she is today and has allowed her to express her love for writing.

Sydney Vo
Sydney Vo, Team Leader
Sydney Vo is a sophomore at LHS and is a Team Leader on staff. This is their second year on Magpie. They are an active member of FFA, and they have participated in multiple competitions—their favorite being entomology. They are also involved in the Chinese Club, the Society of Asian Culture, and Speech Team. In their free time, they enjoy reading Batman comics and making art.
