Falling for Fall
Pumpkins are one of the most common symbols of fall. Families carve pumpkins and decorate their porches with them. This tradition began in the 19th century when the Irish discovered pumpkins and used them to ward off evil spirits.
Fall is a very unique time of the year. There are certain foods, drinks, decorations, and traditions that lots of people do every year to celebrate fall. Some of these foods and drinks are potato soup, smores, apple cider, and pumpkin-themed coffee. This photo essay highlights some of the many things we do and eat every fall.
