How long have you been playing tennis?

This is my first year playing tennis. My mom and dad would always take me to play tennis when I was little, so I decided to join.

What inspired you to play tennis?

My parents were a big inspiration for me playing tennis. We always played on random courts together, and my mom has always wanted a tennis player.

What motivates you?

What motivates me the most is friends and family being there for me while I play. They keep me wanting to push myself to be the best I can be.

What are you hoping to achieve this season?

This season, I mostly was going into it just to learn. But, I wanted to play in at least one match and win, and that happened many times. This tennis season has been so much fun, and I’ve grown so much in the sport and the relationships with some of my friends.

Who has helped you the most with your accomplishments this season?

Another one of my biggest inspirations is Goldie Kitchell. She is always cheering me on when I’m playing and makes bad practice a fun time. Without her and a couple others tennis wouldn’t be what it is now. Although the season is over for me, I’m planning to play more this summer with my parents and be on the courts again next spring.
