On Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Logansport gymnastics barn was filled with energy, movement and excitement. Participants in the Logansport Youth Gymnastics clinic spent the morning learning from members of the middle school and high school gymnastics teams, who guided them on the various apparatus. As the gymnasts rotated stations, they continued to learn and practice their new skills. To conclude, the elementary-age gymnasts showcased what they had learned in front of family and friends. Afterward, the middle school and high school mentors performed their own routines for the mentees. The event was packed with jumps, twists, flips, cartwheels and laughter. Every aspiring gymnast who participated demonstrated that the program’s future is bright.
