“Burning Thighs Before Pies” at the Turkey Trot
With the Turkey Trot starting at 8:00 A.M., runners make their way toward the start line, which also acts as a finish line. The course of the Turkey Trot runs down North Street, looping back to High Street. Runners then run around Riverside Park before making their way up 10th Street, which is the final stretch of the run.
Every year in Logansport on Thanksgiving Day, the Cass County YMCA hosts the Turkey Trot. The Turkey Trot consists of a choice between a mile walk/run or a four mile run. People of all ages were able to participate or volunteer at the event.
