What was your favorite spirit day?

Freshman Molly Hunnicutt: My favorite spirit day this week was Color Wars because it showed the grade with the most spirit.

Sophomore Madilie Franco: My favorite spirit day was Country vs. Country Club. I personally dressed up as Country Club since I am a part of the golf team. I noticed that a lot of people dressed up for this day, which was fun to see people actually participate.

Junior Logan Lange: My favorite day had to be Country vs. Country Club. I liked it a lot. Being a golfer, it is fun to see people who also enjoy the sport. They just don’t play for the school.

Senior Deagan Kitchel: My favorite was Color Wars. The senior class went all out. It was fun to be with a bunch of people that participated.

What was your least favorite spirit day?

Hunnicutt: My least favorite was Minion Day. This is because the amount was not very easy to do for all people because people do not have bibs or the clothes to be a main character for the seniors.

Franco: My least favorite spirit day was Hawaiian Day. Many people don’t have Hawaiian clothing, so there wasn’t as much participation for this spirit day.

Lange: The worst had to be Color Wars. I feel like it is a bit basic and boring.

Kitchel: My least favorite spirit day was Hawaiian Day. It is okay. It is not very unique and kind of limited to things you can do.

What spirit day do you wish we had this year or could add next year?

Hunnicutt: The next dress-up day I want for next year is Decades Day. This is because you can dress up as multiple different decades, which would be like self-expression through spirit day.

Franco: If I were to add a different spirit day theme, I would personally pick Twin Day. I feel a lot of people would participate on this day since they can twin with their friend, significant other, or even teachers and staff could twin with each other.

Lange: I wish we had a USA. Day this week. I think a lot of people like that, and it is very fun.

Kitchel: I wish we would have had an Adam Sandler Day. Dressing up with a baggy shirt and baggy gym shorts is a funny look.

How would you rate this year’s school spirit out of 10?

Hunnicutt: Overall, I would rate this spirit week an eight out of 10 because there can always be an improvement, and I would love to see dress-up days where you have more choices of what to dress up as.

Franco: I would rate this year’s Homecoming Spirit week an eight out of 10.

Lange: I think this year was a seven out of 10. It was decent but could improve.

Kitchel: I would rate the school spirit a six out of 10. I really enjoy dressing up and participating in Spirit Week. It makes it more enjoyable when everyone participates. Sadly, the number of people who actually got involved was very limited.
