Riley Maw, The Felix Frame Producer
Sophomore Riley Maw has stepped up for his second year on the Magpie staff, becoming the Producer of The Felix Frame. While he remains nervous to be the head, he revels in the challenge to be up to the standards of his predecessors. Riley is an avid enjoyer of musicals and shows, but if a story interests him, he doesn’t really care what the medium is.
Kailee Lake, Reporter
Kailee Lake is a Team Leader for Magpie. She mostly enjoys doing photo essays since it means she gets to use her own personal camera and show off her few years of skills. The college trips are one of her favorite parts of class activities because they offer guidance to future careers. She is in the Career Center Photography Class, which supports her hobby of taking pictures of nature outside of school. Kailee loves Red Dead Redemption to the point it’s basically her whole personality, and whenever it’s mentioned, she turns into the thousand-yard stare meme. She has also gotten into baking, even though she’s not all too confident in the kitchen.
Yareli Hernandez, Reporter
Yareli Hernandez is a sophomore joining Magpie for the first time. Her favorite things to write about are features and opinions. In her spare time, she loves to watch documentaries, draw, and sing. She is in the Art Club, FCA Club, and plays soccer as a central midfielder.
Connor Davis, Business Team
Connor Davis is a junior at Logansport High School. He has been in the Magpie since his freshman year. He was formerly on The Felix Fame as a video editor. He enjoys writing stories, video editing, and reading journalistic pieces. Connor now serves on the Business Team of Magpie and enjoys his team. Connor enjoys history and nature and is a former Boy Scout.
