There has always been ongoing competition between Androids and Apple. Many people nowadays prefer iPhones instead of androids. However, iPhones are better than Androids for multiple reasons.

Typically, iPhones are better because they have more advantages. The biggest advantage iOS has over Android is its software updates. Apple generally supports new iPhones and iPads with iOS updates for five to six years after their release date, and all of those devices get the same updates at the same time. Meanwhile, Androids get version and security updates for at least three years. You get new features and apps that Android users don’t get because some apps are only available for iPhone users.

Better app selection is also another reason that iPhones are better than Androids. Apps and games often come to iOS first because app developers tend to make more money there. iOS also has a larger selection of “pro” apps for editing images, videos, and audio.

One disadvantage of iPhones is their price. iPhones are very expensive. Although, Apple uses extremely high-quality materials to make their phones, which ensures a lifetime use capacity much longer than that of Android iPhones.

Some people like the look of the iPhone better than an Android.

“Apple is more expensive, but it has a better look to their phones,” sophomore Jerika Razer said. 

However, Androids have some advantages to them that iPhones don’t have. Androids are more affordable when it comes to phones. That’s why customers love to buy Androids because of the low price.

Another advantage of Androids is that it supports running multiple apps simultaneously. This allows you to continue to listen to music as you check messages, download files that you’ve received or even upload them from your device or drive. There are a lot of Android app development companies that build applications based on Android that are very useful in our daily lives.

The advantages of iPhones still outweigh the advantages of Androids because they have more storage capacity. It’s challenging for Android users to download heavy applications or work online with game-like applications because of its small internal system storage. These many reasons are why iPhones are superior to Androids.
