Oktoberfest Bier Festival
- Where?
- Little Turtle Waterway, Logansport, IN.
- When?
- Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025.
- What?
- A more traditional version of Royal Center’s Oktoberfest festival that leans heavily on stressing historic German culture rather than the typical western take of the festival.
- Who?
- Adults aged 21 and older; children are invited to stay in a child-designated area with age-appropriate entertainment.

Miss Oktoberfest Pageant
- Where?
- Pioneer Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium, Royal Center, IN.
- When?
- Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025.
- What?
- A pageant featuring Cass County girls from all ages with varying levels of experience and processes depending on age group; for example, older contestants change outfits and are asked on-stage questions in front of an audience.
- Who?
- The pageant is geared toward young women who can compete from ages 3-21 with divisions of Tiny, Little, Junior, Teen and Miss.

Oktoberfest
- Where?
- Rea Park, Royal Center, IN.
- When?
- Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025.
- What?
- A western interpretation of the annual traditional festival that was first celebrated in Munich, Germany, and has since become a worldwide celebration of German culture, primarily its food and drink, music and traditional clothing.
- Who?
- People of all ages; there are vendors and activities designed to accommodate all visitors.

Sleepy Hollow Hayrides
- Where?
- France Park, Logansport, IN.
- When?
- Oct. 17, 18, 24, 25, 31 & Nov. 1, 2025.
- What?
- An annual attraction that features local scare actors aged from young children to adults; visitors take a hayride through the forested areas of France Park that stops several times at different posts, each holding various horrors aimed to scare even the bravest of riders.
- Who?
- Teenagers aged from 12-18; some aspects of the attraction may be deemed inappropriate for younger children and those with heart conditions or epilepsy.

Arcoiris Fest
- Where?
- Riverside Park, Logansport, IN.
- When?
- Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025.
- What?
- Celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community, specifically those of Latinx origin, and translates directly to ‘rainbow fest’.
- Who?
- Primarily people who identify as LGBTQIA+ and are of Latinx origin.

Cass County Extension Homemakers Annual Craft Show
- Where?
- Cass County 4-H Community Building, Logansport, IN.
- When?
- Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025.
- What?
- A smaller-scale craft show that highlights artists located in Cass County and surrounding counties.
- Who?
- People of all ages; there are crafts ranging from children’s toys and puzzles to pottery and jewelry.

Logansport Artisan Holiday Market and Junior Holiday Market
- Where?
- Vibrant Event Center, Logansport, IN.
- When?
- Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025.
- What?
- A larger-scale showcase promoting all sorts of crafts, artworks and culinary creations from artists ages young and old.
- Who?
- Children can enjoy the Junior Holiday Market while older teens and adults can walk around the more mature Artisan Holiday Market.

Scarecrow Row
- Where?
- Downtown, Logansport, IN.
- When?
- Oct. 20 – Nov. 3, 2025.
- What?
- A downtown tradition where participating businesses dress up scarecrows and showcase said creations outside of their respective buildings.
- Who?
- A majority of the businesses located in the downtown area of Logansport.

Halloween Parties

- Halloween parties are a great way to get a group together and just have a bunch of fun! Magpie editors hosted a successful Halloween party on Oct. 24, and here are the elements that made it such a fun time:
- Schedule the party in advance; make sure the date accommodates all invitees.
- Provide a variety of food and drink; have a little something for everyone.
- Find some fun fall-themed activities; get everyone in the mood.
- Have some activities on the back burner just in case; you never know how long the party will last.
- Put together a flexible day-of schedule; make sure it can be easily adjusted as needed.
- Make sure to have a rain date if holding an outdoors party; soggy food is no fun.

- Include everyone; nobody wants to feel left out a get-together.

- A cozy coffee shop equipped with a tavern and shop featuring works (art, jewelry, pottery, books etc.) from local artists.
- Live music performances, open mic nights, child-friendly fall activities and seasonal shopping.
- Bonus Pints:
- Logansport’s largest arcade and record store with a “Bonus Level” featuring local stores, including a comic shop, art and clothing store, and even a barbershop for those looking to achieve a clean shave between rounds of Pac-Man.
- Trivia nights, live music performances and seasonal shopping.
- The Science Project:
- A lively pizzeria that routinely hosts trivia and activities for Logansport residents of all ages.
- Child-friendly fall activities, trivia nights, food and drink tastings.
- McClure’s Orchard:
- A seasonal apple orchard that combines small-scale agriculture and local fall culture, containing a pumpkin patch, a set of stores and even a restaurant with fresh options for the whole family.
- Pumpkin patch, apple orchard, corn maze and seasonal shopping.
