Lunar New Year, similar to our American New Year, is about luck, fortune and family for the next year. For both of us, this is a time to gather as a family and eat fun foods. This Chinese New Year is the year of the horse, standing for a year of being bold, freedom, and independence. Our celebration was just one of many ways to show appreciation for the Chinese culture.
